Re: URGENT ATTENTION TO DROP OFF AND PICK UP PROCEDURE AT HLC
For the SAFETY of our students and good order of the businesses around our campus, we ask you to NOT stop in our driveway or use any of the neighbouring business driveways for this purpose.
Safety of our students is our number 1 priority. Currently, the safest option is to turn into Saltwater Drive, and head all the way to the end where it is possible to turn around. Students will be able to get out of the car on the correct side of the road and walk less than 2 minutes to our campus. We ask that they take extra care as they cross any driveways.
The Gold Coast City Council is aiming to provide a drop off and pick up zone at the front of the building in the near future, but until this happens, our priority is the safety of our students and to cause least disruption to the businesses around our campus.
Staff have been instructed to advise parents of this procedure if they incorrectly use the building driveway or neighbouring building driveways. Please support our team and interact with them respectfully. We sincerely appreciate your support with this important procedure.
