Guidance and Counselling Service
At South East Region’s Learning Centres, our Guidance and Counselling Service is dedicated to supporting the school vision: Success STARTS Here…
We believe every young person deserves the opportunity to reconnect with learning, feel valued, and move confidently toward their future goals.
Our approach is guided by the core elements of the STARTS vision:
Second Chance Learners
We welcome every student with respect, hope and the belief that positive change is always possible.
Teachers And Staff Who Care
Guidance Officers work closely with caring educators who prioritise strong relationships, genuine connection and student wellbeing.
Accessible Programs
We help reduce barriers to learning and support students to engage with the flexible, inclusive programs offered across all campuses.
Recognise Difference
Every young person has unique strengths and experiences. We tailor our support to meet individual needs, celebrate diversity and promote belonging.
To Graduate
We assist students to set achievable goals, plan their learning pathway and stay on track toward successful completion.
Step Up
We empower learners to build resilience, develop independence and take confident steps into their future.
