#WHYSTARTS Good news story
Our fantastic teacher Donna at our VLC campus led the Business class through an interesting task where they had to work as a team, design a hat and market the hat to a potential audience of buyers. They had to consider their market, their product materials and their target audience. As you can see from the photo, imagination was the key and the groups worked collaboratively to design and market their creations.
From left to right:
Hat 1 Mental Health Day Hat: This hat will have a theme each year and when you buy the hat some of the proceeds go to supporting mental health. Not only is it a fun hat, it will bring you joy when you wear it.
Hat 2 The Chill Hat: This hat is for days when you just need to not take the world seriously. It would be marketed at people needing to just chill, or even people attending dance parties. It will be made of recycled sustainable material.
Hat 3 The Vintage Hat: This hat is ageless and would be totally made from recycled materials from donated items of clothing. It is a hat that can be worn by any age and will be something you will have in the cupboard for a lifetime.
Hat 4 The Party Hat: aimed at anyone who loves a good party. It will be made of some recycled materials and available in party shops like the party section of Spotlight.
